C.A.C. Part of NYC's Pedestrian Safe Routes Program
C.A.C. is re configuring sidewalks and roadways at major pedestrian intersections throughout all 5 boroughs to make them safe for students and pedestrians. These projects involve new ADA compliant ramps, drainage systems, security bollards, signage, street lighting, detectable warning tiles, new pavers, and relocation of distribution water main.
Many of these sites are in landmarked designated areas which require special granite curbs, tinted colored concrete and special lamp posts.
