While the core of our business remains water main and sewer installation, our capabilities also includes: asphalt paving, site grading, pile driving, site dewatering, deep excavation support systems, watertight cofferdams, and utility work which has allowed us to expand into heavy civil projects and building construction. This experience combined with our growing loyal work force, substantial equipment inventory, and a strong relationship with strategic partners, has fueled our growth over the last twenty years.

Meet the Executive Officers of C.A.C. Industries, Inc.
Michael A. Capasso | President
Michael A. Capasso is the founding owner and 2nd President of C.A.C. Industries, Inc. Michael has over 20 years-experience in the construction industry. His philosophy is simple to lead by example, being a courageous risk taker, embracing conflict and showing good judgment. Michael provides a family work environment where all employees are treated with mutual respect and are acknowledged for their hard work. Michael focuses on teamwork, asking that as a company his employees be selfless in achieving the goals that will benefit them as a whole. Michael is dedicated to the personal growth and success of his employees which has resulted in corporate success. Under Michael’s leadership, C.A.C. has grown from a few employees to over 250.
Michael earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Cornell University and continues to learn and grow as he takes executive education courses at Harvard Business School and London Business School.
John M. Labozza, P.E. | Chief Operating Officer, Vice President
John M. Labozza is currently the Chief Operating Officer for C.A.C. Industries, Inc. He is responsible for all daily operations of the organization and also is a key contributor to estimating and strategic planning.
John is invaluable for his knowledge and expertise in dealing with people and public agencies, whether they are employees in the field to the highest of public officials. John can be counted on to immediately resolve complicated issues or develop unique alternatives for unforeseen complications, that can occur on any construction project.
John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn. John's many years of experience in the construction industry make him essential in training the future leaders of the company.
Richard E. Gavin, CPA, CCIFP | Chief Financial Officer
Rick Gavin is currently the Chief Financial Officer for C.A.C. Industries, Inc. He is responsible for all financial operations of the organization and is a key contributor to internal processes and strategic planning. Rick’s prior experience includes 26 years at Grassi & Co, CPAs. P.C., a nationally recognized public accounting firm in the construction industry, as a partner serving the construction industry. In addition, Rick previously served as an adjunct professor at Columbia University teaching a graduate level course in finance and accounting for construction contractors.
In order to keep current with changes and issues affecting the construction industry, Rick is active in industry trade organizations such as the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA). Rick is member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA).
Rick was one of the first individuals in the country to attain the designation of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP). He has a bachelor of business administration degree from Hofstra University.
Jim McMurray | Vice President
Jim McMurray is the Vice President for C.A.C. Industries, Inc. Jim has over 20 years’ of experience working in the construction industry. He has been around construction his whole life - growing up working for a family business, building custom homes in Westchester and Fairfield counties. After earning a degree in Business and Economics from Saint Michaels College, Jim started with C.A.C. in 1999 as an assistant super. He quickly made the transition to superintendent in two short years (2001) before being promoted to Vice President.
When Jim was in the field, he always enjoyed being involved in the most complex and challenging projects that C.A.C. was involved in. Presently, he is responsible for working out the logistics of day to day field operations and providing support between the company's shop to our jobs across all five boroughs.
Glenn J. Biesiadecki, P.E. | Risk Management Officer
Glenn Biesiadecki brings over 35 years of diverse heavy construction and infrastructure experience to C.A.C. His construction career includes responsible positions as the Owner’s Representative, Design Consultant Field Liaison Engineer, Construction Field Superintendent, Resident Engineer and Contractor’s Project Manager. These different construction viewpoints give Glenn the unique insights into what is takes to direct and manage successful projects from start to completion.
Prior to joining C.A.C. Glenn held key positions on two of New York City’s largest multi-billion dollar environmental public works projects; the upgrade of the Newtown Creek Water Pollution Control Plant in Brooklyn and the multi-billion dollar construction of the new Croton Water Filtration Facility in the Bronx. These mega-projects added to Glenn’s already impressive list of completed projects which included the USTA Tennis Center in Queens.
Glenn is a Registered Professional Engineer in New York State with Master’s degrees in Structural Engineering from CCNY and Environmental Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of New York.
